This is a notice for owners of older versions of PBS products. Read below for more details.
Valued PBS customers and partners:
MTI Instruments prides itself on providing consistent, quality experiences for our customers. We recognize the importance of having products you can rely on to perform required functions consistently and accurately. As with any aging system, components become obsolete, parts become subject to wear and tear, software becomes vulnerable to cybersecurity risks, and older operating systems are incompatible with current operating environments.
To that end, starting on August 1st, 2021, we will no longer be able to offer calibration and repair services on PBS-4100 and PBS-4100R built on/before 2012.
If you have one of these products as detailed in the table below, you may be eligible for exchange credits for older systems. We recommend your next steps as:
• Ensure your future budget planning includes funds for upgrading or replacing your PBS system
• Leverage MTI resources to aid you in formulating a technology succession plan
• Contact us to discuss your options

How to Find your Serial Number
The part numbers are usually found on the back or the bottom of the unit. Below is an example of where the part number is on the product sticker.
